This tournament is open to all financial members of ANSA (Australian National Sportfishing Association) and non-ANSA members and must be fished under ANSA rules to be eligible for the ANSA Divisions.

Individual, non-club registrations can be made at any time up to close of business Friday 22 March. Just email us.

Catch and Release is preferred but is not compulsory. Photos with ID are a must.

Port Botany Boat Ramp can experience long delays in launching and retrieving boats due to overcrowding. Parking is also at a premium in good weather events, so get there early and make sure you have enough time to retrieve your boat and get back to the Club grounds on Sunday morning / noon prior to weigh-in deadline.

Rock Fishing
It is now a legal requirement for anyone who is rock fishing anywhere in the Randwick local government area, including children, or anyone who is helping them rock fish, must wear a lifejacket. This is also recommended for all other rock fishing areas. Make sure you read our Safety notes.

Important Notes for Tournament

Entry of Captures: A capture can only be entered into one of the particular divisions with the exception of the George Pratt Length Only Awards and the Length Only Species Awards. (Eg: A fish may be submitted in the Tagging division and the Length Only Species.)Captures in the following length only sections ARE NOT eligible for points towards the Champion Club award, but are open to all ANSA and Non-ANSA members:

George Pratt Length Only Species Awards (Snapper, Flathead and Bream).  Catch and Release is preferred but is not compulsory. Photos with code visible are a must. Note all Flathead over 70 cm must be released.

Length Only Species Awards (Kingfish, Morwong, Trevally, Bonito, Mulloway and Salmon) Catch and Release is preferred but is not compulsory. Photos with ID cards are a must.

Thursday BBQ supplied for early arrivals.

First fully catered meal is a BBQ Friday evening at 6.30 pm on the 22nd March 2024.

Use BBQs if you require cooking facilities prior to Tournament commencing.

Breakfast is Continental style, (breads, cereals, fruit etc) no hot meals, but BBQ facility is available.

House of Pie (Next to Matraville Pub on Bunnerong Rd.) Open 24 hrs for the best pies, bread, cakes, milk and drinks.

WEIGH-IN

Sunday 24th March weigh-in ends at 1 pm. No fish will be weighed after 1 pm if the fish are not in the weigh area.
